BAY AREA COMMUNITY ROOTS
At Kitchen Door, we’re invested in growing our Bay Area community from the ground up. We take the time to foster connection where it matters most—through deeply studying our local ecosystem, uplifting our local small businesses circle with project partnerships, and giving back to the Earth through team volunteering and regeneration initiatives.
We are proud to be a part of the Bay Area community, and to serve you and your neighbors with our beautiful, bespoke, and sustainable landscaping solutions.

local plant life we love
A low maintenance, low water shrub who has picturesque bark, showy flowers, food for wildlife, and helps blend the urban with the wild - this evergreen sounds too good to be true.
red flowering currant
A true home for animals used to harvest nectar, grow into butterflies, and even harvested by humans for jams, pies, and other berry activities.
california hummingbird sage
A drought tolerant shade tolerant perennial who thrives when it's left alone. Enjoying its showy blooms from afar as pollinators visit is a truly special experience.
A drought resistant grass that proves its power year after year with interesting seed heads taking it beyond just another grass.
